Garrett Paragon Design and the Modern Security Market

Since its launch in 2023, Paragon has seen significant interest from a wide variety of customer verticals. Consequently, Garrett wants to briefly share the design philosophy behind Paragon, and how we conceptualize its enhanced features and capabilities as they relate to its customers, current and future. In doing so, the Garrett team hopes to help potential customers understand where they see Paragon building on past successes and pushing into new frontiers.

It is important to start with the core of any good security screening product: detection. Garrett remains committed to the fundamental necessity of real security through superior detection. Without real detection capability, no weapons screening system can be said to be fit for purpose. Garrett was and is concerned about the prevalence of the term “security theater” in its industry, and Garrett’s engineers have designed Paragon as a stinging rebuke to competitors who have settled for pleasant deceptions that will ultimately overpromise and underdeliver.

Garrett believes that these three categories: detection, ease of use, and application all help customers see how Paragon was thoughtfully designed to bring them a better security experience, whether they are a dealer or an end user. Garrett detectors are proudly made in the USA, and Garrett is committed to the continued development of best-in-class security solutions for its diverse and global customer base
